I need to write! How can I not when so much is going on? I’ve been meaning to, wanting to, dying to and yet my life has been locked away in boxes. But has it really? And should that have ever stopped me? I can tell myself I don’t have time to dig away and find my journal whilst I exist in a temporary nomads domain. But am I not just hiding from the real digging, from what parts of myself i might find hidden in the soil? The digging away through the deep earthen bed of my history, through to the roots of my being? I must remember that there are infinite alternatives upon which I can bare my soul, including this magic bit of memory I hold in my hands. This device somewhat hard and cold, has the capacity to capture my life in pictures and moments, text and sound. Here’s to me entering a new age and embracing it for all I can…
